BDB BUILD ON THEIR SUCCESS

A clutch of orders within the office and motor retail sectors worth almost £12 million have recently been placed with the Sheffield based building contractor BDB Design Build.

New contracts have started as far afield as Southend and Stockton-on-Tees and means that construction activities are well on the way to providing a turnover over £20m in 2006.

Works commenced in May on the largest of these contracts, a £3.5m project involving the construction of five new two storey offices for the Sheffield Business Park.

Still on the commercial theme BDB have been awarded a negotiated contract for another phase of the Carr Square office development at Doncaster by St Paul’s Developments Ltd. This latest phase involves the erection of four new two storey offices and is valued at £1.6m.

Continuing success in the motor retail sector, where BDB have completed more than ninety dealerships throughout the UK, has generated contracts in Essex and the North East.

A new £2.9m Audi dealership at Southend for VW Group (UK) Ltd and a new Lexus/Toyota dealership at Stockton on Tees for RMB Automotive Ltd valued at £3.4m are both due for completion early in 2007.
