Nick ready to log his 26.2 miles for this year's London Marathon

August 26, 2020

Our MD Nick Goodson will be participating in this year's London Marathon to help support Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice.

Although the London Marathon that we all know and love cannot take place on Sunday 4 October, organisers are developing an app that will enable runners to log their 26.2 miles and earn their finisher medal.

So Nick will be taking part in the event on the same day, in the same spirit, but in a way that is safe and also helps charities with desperately needed fundraising.

Rachel Dawes, Corporate Fundraising Manager at Bluebell Wood, said: "We're absolutely delighted that Nick will be flying the flag for Bluebell Wood when he runs the London Marathon.

"He's such a fantastic sport and he certainly proved his dedication last year when he ran his very own 'London Marathon' on the streets of Sheffield for Bluebell Wood, raising over £10,000 in the process.

"Thanks to his grit and determination we're able to make a real difference to local children and families who are going through the most difficult of times.

"A huge thank you to Nick for taking on the London Marathon and best of luck.".
